The NEW Gimp 1.2.0 plugin page is here

I've created a mailing list so that all the subscribers can receive the new plugins once i compile them. If you want to subscribe to the gimp mailing list, please e.mail majordomo@tecnogi.com and add the following text in the body of the e.mail:

subscribe gimp your e.mail-address

You will receive automatically all the new plugins directly from the mailing list.

If you are interested in Fonts on your linux machine, you can now convert True Type Fonts (TTF) to postscript Type1. Simply use the optimum TTFtoPT1 and download the fonts to convert from here.
